directions from the f train at york street:

1. take the f train to york street, the first stop in brooklyn.
2. when you're out of the subway, make a right and walk down jay street for four blocks
3. When you reach the river, you've arrived. If you're in the river, you've gone too far —10 Jay street is the last building on the left.
4. There's an elevator to your right and stairs to your left — both will get you to the fourth floor. Once there, just follow the signs to 408.
