    when asked by a non-profit organization in support of immigrants in detention to re-design their website, we shook our heads... not unless we could re-create the graphic identity from scratch. the client agreed.

process

we were surprised to hear that the dwn committee didn’t like our bird logos from the first design review. apparently doves are a faux pas with the human rights crowd.  we looked for alternatives and pinned it down in round 3; the final design is a spotlight hitting a fence. drawn to fit the grid of gridnik, a typeface by one of our favorite designers wim crowel.
