process
we were surprised to hear that the dwn committee didn’t like our bird logos from the first design review. apparently doves are a faux pas with the human rights crowd. we looked for alternatives and pinned it down in round 3; the final design is a spotlight hitting a fence. drawn to fit the grid of gridnik, a typeface by one of our favorite designers wim crowel.
outcome
visit detention watch network and inform yourself about the issues. we designed the original site, but didn’t build nor maintain it.
